Blues Rock Concert 2011

Blues Rock Concert is an annual tradition, put on by our high school’s SEGO club, in which many school bands and artists participate to raise money for a charitable global cause. Although the production has been fairly simple in the past, we decided to take it to another level this year with special lighting and sound.

For this design, I used a combination of very saturated gels, S4 ellipsoidals hung on the electrics, and our atmospheric hazer and ground fogger to create a “rock concert” look without any moving or intelligent fixtures, which I feel was quite successful. Everyone was happy and over $1000 was raised for a charitable cause!
